Due to the unexpected failure of our compressor, which keeps the ice frozen, the start of our season is delayed until further notice. A new compressor is on a rush order and should be arriving in approximately 3 weeks. As soon as the compressor arrives and the ice is restored we will start the season. We are hoping this can happen in early November.
Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued support of our rink.
After careful consideration, the Bow Valley Community Club (Indus Curling) board has decided to implement the Restriction Exemption Program (REP) set by Alberta Health Services. For further details on the program see https://www.alberta.ca/
The Restrictions Exemption Program states that our curling club can operate as usual provided our curlers and patrons (18 and over) have one of the following:
1. proof of vaccination
2. documentation of a medical or religious exemption
3. proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of activity (each night of curling)
All curlers will be required to complete and submit a Vaccination Status Member Consent Form along with showing proof of vaccination or documentation of a medical exemption on the first night of curling. Only the submitted consent form will be kept on file.
All other patrons (18+) will be required to show one of the above upon entering the facility.
With the REP, masks are still mandatory indoors, meaning masks will need to be worn in the lounge while not sitting at a table eating or drinking.
We thank you for your understanding of the measures we much undertake to ensure curling continues at our facility.
Visit each league page for more information and league schedules:
Juniors league - registration for juniors closes October 12.
While last season's COVID-19 protocols are no longer required, we will be keeping a few in place to ensure curler safety.
Below are a few safety precautions we are keeping:

We also recommend curlers follow these practices during play:
We are excited to welcome curlers back to the rink but understand some might be hesitant to return. We will do our best to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
