Welcome back to the rink!

Curling for the 2021/2022 season will begin in October.

While last season's COVID-19 protocols are no longer required, we will be keeping a few in place to ensure curler safety.

Below are a few safety precautions we are keeping:

On ice:

  • no water dispensers - bring your own water
  • no club equipment will be provided (stabilizers, brooms, sticks, sliders)
  • sanitize stations at both ends of the rink
  • in-ice distance location markers to encourage distancing

In the lounge:

  • tables and chairs will be spaced for social distancing
  • social distancing signage and markings will be displayed
  • sanitize stations throughout

We also recommend curlers follow these practices during play:

  • no handshakes - broom tap or wave instead
  • no coin toss - use stopwatch or app
  • measurements should be done by only 1 person

We are excited to welcome curlers back to the rink but understand some might be hesitant to return. We will do our best to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
